Floral Design Schedule

 

1.“I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas” 

Create a mass arrangement depicting a white Christmas. To be staged on a pedestal 18”x 24” x 42” high, to be covered by the exhibitor, viewed from all sides. Accessories permitted. Flowers may be purchased for this class. 

Limited to 4 entries 

 

2. “The Little Drummer Boy”

Create a wreath made from natural materials from a Hardy garden depicting a vignette from the song. Accessories permitted. Form will be provided by the club. Wreath should not exceed 14” in diameter. A ribbon hanger should be attached to the top of the wreath.

3. “The Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy”

From the “Nutcracker”, Create a miniature arrangement in a teacup with saucer, dimensions not to exceed 5”x5”x5”, suggesting the theme of the “Sugar Plum Fairy”. Placed on a cloth napkin provided by the exhibitor. Flowers may be purchased.

4. “A Partridge in a Pear Tree” Create a Christmas tree not more than 12” high and 8” wide using all natural materials from Hardy gardens depicting a vignette from the song. Placed on a cloth napkin provided by the exhibitor. Accessories permitted.

5. “Deck the Halls”

Create a mantle arrangement not to exceed 

18” high x14” long x 6” deep depicting the theme of this song and using roses. Greens should be from Hardy gardens. Roses and other flowers may be purchased.
