Hardy members participate in a multitude of activities for the community, for each other and for themselves. Members come together from September to June on a monthly basis. The calendar is filled with events including artistic floral shows, horticultural shows, fundraisers, field trips, lectures, workshops, community service and fundraisers. In addition, club members are active in both The Garden Club of America and Federated Garden Clubs of Maryland.

Community Service Projects
Our primary ongoing project is the maintenance of the Hardy rain garden at Meadowood Park. Designed and installed in 2007, the rain garden seeks to educate the public about the importance of runoff control while mitigating on-site stormwater runoff into Deep Run, a tributary of the Jones Falls.
Other projects include:
Assembling and delivering holiday boxwood trees to clients of Meals on Wheels.
Decorating a room at Ladew Manor House for Christmas.
